Registration is OPEN for the 19th season of our Youth Theatre Summer Camp!
Our youth summer camp is back for our 19th season! This year we'll be hosting a 3-week camp and putting on a full one-hour musical production of "Willy Wonka Jr." to be performed live at the end of July. Sign up using this form to join the three-week camp.
Weeks 1 and 2 will run during the day at Penn Yan Middle School. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during these weeks we will be running a new "full day" program from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. During these first two weeks, we will run our traditional 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon on Wednesday and Friday. The third week will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Penn Yan Academy in preparation for the live production at the end of the week.
Camp dates are July 10 - 14 and 17 - 21 during the day and July 24 - 27 in the evenings, with the show on July 28 & 29 at 7:00 PM and July 30 at 2:00 PM.
Please note the extended times on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the first two weeks as this is a new extension to our camp this year. This extended time will allow for us to go more in-depth with our rehearsal project and bring in guest presenters to host workshops on various theatre topics. Our camp is made possible by the generous support of the Rochester Community Foundation's Arts & Vitality Grant and the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes' Keuka Area Fund, as well as the support of area businesses. Because of these generous supports, we offer our program with no registration cost to families.
