Youth Ambassador Program to Return for Second Year

The Penn Yan Theatre Company (PYTCo) is proud to present the Penn Yan Youth Ambassador Program — an exciting opportunity for students and local organizations to come together in celebration of leadership, community involvement, and the spirit of Penn Yan.

The program is open to all students, regardless of gender, in their junior year. As in years past, the support of local organizations like yours is essential. We are writing to invite you to sponsor a candidate in this year’s program. Your sponsorship of $125 covers the cost of dinner for your candidate and organizational escort, as well as candidate gifts. Your organization will also be asked to provide an escort and share information about your mission and work — details your candidate will use to prepare a speech for the judging panel.

Organizations are welcome to sponsor a candidate of their own choosing, or the committee can assign a student who is interested in participating but does not yet have a sponsor.

The organization’s escort will need to attend the judging dinner on December 4 and participate in Star Shine on December 6. Sponsorship forms are due by November 14. Checks can be made payable to Penn Yan Youth Ambassador Program and mailed along with forms to:
